Susie Stannard, Consumer Insight Manager, AHDB,  gives an overview into the issues of consumer trust within the farming industry and its impact on the environment. Key issues such as consumer engagement on food issues, attitudes towards British agriculture and supply chain and consumer in the farming environment will be explored in greater detail with particular reference to the red meat, dairy and produce categories.

In line with Invest NI’s Food and Drink Consumer Insights team focus on sustainability across 2021, we are planning a series of webinars concentrating on the issues impacting at a sector level.

The first webinar in this series was hosted by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) and will provide an insight into the issues of consumer trust within the farming industry and its impact on the environment. Key issues such as consumer perception of the food supply chain, how covid has changed and shaped consumer views with regards to sustainability and what the key consumer concerns are going forward will be explored with particular reference to the red meat, dairy and produce categories.
