About the Supply Chain Solutions programme

Boost your supply chain resilience and drive competitiveness. 

The Supply Chain Solutions programme helps Northern Ireland manufacturers and internationally traded services businesses strengthen their supply chains and gain a competitive edge.

You can join if you manage a supply chain directly or operate within an extended one.

What does the Supply Chain Solutions programme offer?

We deliver tailored support, led by our expert supply chain professionals.

We can help you:

  • Pinpoint supply chain risks and design effective mitigation strategies
  • Cut costs and sharpen your competitive edge
  • Strengthen your internal supply chain capabilities through workshops, coaching and mentoring
  • Identify and facilitate supply chain improvement projects to support productivity enhancements  
  • Discover new supply chain opportunities

You may also qualify for financial support toward the salary of a dedicated supply chain employee, depending on your circumstances.

Who is eligible for the Supply Chain Solutions programme?

Who Can Apply

To qualify, your business must:

  • Operate and be based in Northern Ireland
  • Manufacture products or deliver internationally traded services
  • Spend at least £100,000 on supply chain activities in one of the last two financial years
  • Be able to demonstrate that your supply chain has been adversely impacted due to a disruption in the production, sale, or distribution of products
  • Either:
    • Project £250,000+ in annual turnover within five years with 25% of sales outside Northern Ireland, or
    • Be an existing Invest NI customer
  • Complete a State Aid declaration if seeking support for a new supply chain role

Who Can’t Apply

You can’t apply if your business:

  • Already receives or plans to receive other government support for the same project
  • Doesn’t offer commercial products or services
  • Can’t demonstrate business viability
  • Works in restricted sectors (e.g. gambling, adult entertainment, tobacco, or unauthorised cannabis products)
  • Is owned by Invest NI staff

How to apply

Invest Northern Ireland client companies can apply to the Supply Chain Solutions programme at any time. For further information, please contact your client executive.

Any eligible business in Northern Ireland can apply to the programme during the three open calls per year. 

Application call dates for 2025-26 are: 

  • Monday 16 June 2025 to 15:00, Friday 04 July 2025
  • Monday 06 October 2025 to 15:00, Friday 24 October 2025
  • Monday 02 February 2026 to 15:00, Friday 20 February 2026
