About the trade mission

Invest Northern Ireland is proposing to take a delegation of life & health sciences companies to visit Germany and Switzerland in November 2025.

This mission will centre on a visit to the Medica trade show in Dusseldorf and a market exploration visit programme in Switzerland, providing health and life science companies the opportunity to connect with potential clients and distributors within these markets. Invest NI will provide one to one support in preparation for the mission.

The trade mission is suitable for: 

  • Businesses within the Life & health sciences sector 
  • Businesses already exporting 
  • Businesses with a ready to go product 

Who is eligible to particpate at Medica?

Our International Trade Calendar exhibitions and trade missions are open to all Invest Northern Ireland client companies that meet the eligibility criteria. Find out more about becoming an Invest Northern Ireland client company.

Please note that spaces to attend this event are limited. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis subject to a completed application form and participation payment.

  • £500 travel and accommodation grant per person for up to two company employees*
  • 50% financial contribution towards a Medilink visitor package at Medica 2025 for up to two delegates
  • Attendance at networking receptions in both the German and Swiss markets
  • Business development support from our in-market team and Trade Advisory Service consultants to deliver a meeting programme of one-to-one and group meetings with prospective customers, partners, and stakeholders

*This is subject to confirmed event participation and the completion of a short evaluation questionnaire.
