Western Regional Office

Our Western team are based in Omagh, or alternatively we can meet you at facilities owned by our partners in your local enterprise agency or at your local Council office.

Invest NI support for Western Regional Office area, 2019-20 to 2023-24

We work with businesses and stakeholders across Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Mid Ulster District Council and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.

We work in partnership with stakeholders to drive economic development throughout the Western region. We do this by providing advice and support to potential entrepreneurs and start-ups businesses looking to innovate and export. We have a wide range of support to help our export focused businesses think strategically and achieve greater export sales.

Over the past five years, the Western Regional Office has offered £106m of support to 1,218 businesses.
This support, alongside the companies' investment commitments, has the potential to generate a £577m investment in the local economy, creating 3,717 jobs.

Council areas covered by the Western Regional Office

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council

As a statutory partner in the council's Community Plan, we are committed to working in partnership with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, to help businesses achieve growth and compete internationally.

Between 2019-20 and 2023-24 we offered support of £52m to 454 businesses based in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area.

This support combined with company investment, has the potential to generate £287m of investment in the area, and support the creation of 1,758 jobs.

Invest NI supports council, in collaboration with its council partners, Fermanagh and Omagh and Mid Ulster, to maximise potential of the £252m Mid South West Growth Deal for the region to drive a higher level of economic success.

Fermanagh & Omagh District Council

As a statutory partner in Fermanagh & Omagh District Council’s Community Plan, we working in partnership with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, to help businesses grow and compete globally.

Between 2019-20 and 2023-24 we offered support of £14m to 245 businesses based in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.

This support combined with company investment, has the potential to generate £64m of investment in the area, and support the creation of 570 jobs.

As a statutory partner in Mid Ulster District Council Community Plan, we are committed to working in partnership with Mid Ulster District Council, to help businesses grow and compete globally.

Between 2019-20 and 2023-24 we offered support of £41m to 519 businesses based in the Mid Ulster District Council area.

This support combined with company investment, has the potential to generate £227m of investment in the area, and support the creation of 1,389 jobs.
