About the Shared Island Enterprise Scheme’s Cross Border Networks and Clusters theme 

The Shared Island Cross Border Networks and Clusters theme is part of the €30m  Shared Island Enterprise Scheme, developed by InterTradeIreland, Invest Northern Ireland and Enterprise Ireland. 

Funding of €2m in total (circa £1.8m) has been allocated to support All Island clustering activities. The agencies have collaborated to conduct a feasibility study that will identify options to: 

  • Strengthening resources within existing/emerging clusters, potentially extending to support all island supply chain development.
  • Developing cluster support structures such as skills development.
  • Exposing clusters on the island of Ireland to international best practice.
